Xbox 360 with Wireless Controller WhiteThis section of Find Games website is about The Xbox 360,a game console developed by Microsoft.

As the successor to the Xbox, the Xbox 360 is the second console in the Xbox series. As part of the seventh generation of video game consoles, the Xbox 360 competes directly with Playstation 3 console and Nintendo Wii. The first release of Xbox 360 was in 2005 and included the Xbox Live online service.

Xbox Live allows gamers to play games online, download games, purchase music, TV shows, and movies through the Xbox Music and Video portals. In addition to online multimedia features, the Xbox 360 allows users to stream media content directly from their PCs. Several hardware upgrades have been released for the Xbox 360, including wireless controllers, expanded hard drive capacity, and a Kinect motion detection camera. With all these new features, new hardware, and additional services, the Xbox brand has grown a lot, and it’s not only a gaming provider anymore.

The Xbox 360 was launched worldwide in 2005-2006 but was initially not available in many regions, including some of the areas in North America and Europe. Unfortunately, the earliest versions of the console had a high failure rate, characterized by the famous “red ring of death”. This forced Microsoft to extend the warranty period of the device. Microsoft later released two revamped Xbox 360 console models, namely the Xbox 360 S in 2010 and the Xbox 360 E three years later. The Xbox 360 is the sixth best-selling video game console and the U.S. In November 2013, the successor to the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, was released. In 2016, Microsoft announced to the public that it would not continue to produce new hardware for the Xbox 360 but will continue to support the platform. Nevertheless, Microsoft has announced a new release of the console in 2020.
