First off, I do rate this game very highly, but this particular edition is not worth the hassle of the bugs which Bethesda do not feel the need to fix. The only extra that this version has is the Shivering Isles expansion (which is where most of the extra bugs come from); I played through the game and completed Shivering Isles, I didnt feel that it was worth it for all the problems caused by the bugs - mostly these bugs manifested themselves as game crashes, leaving you with no chance to save your progress and no warning. There is also the vampire cure glitch, meaning that if you become a vampire, either through accident or choice, the vampire cure quest cannot be completed so youre stuck as a vampire forever; this glitch is apparently not present in the original version. I eventually sold my GOTY edition and purchased the original instead.
