I guess we have Midway and TNA to thank for the over-hyping of this game judging by previews, teasers and press releases this game was meant to take WWEs Smackdown vs Raw title of best grappling game....sadly it doesnt. Dont get me wrong its a solid game the graphics are fantastic and some of the reversals look awesome and the more simplistic controls make it more accesible than the SD VS RAW game but despite all of these great attributes they only mask some major flaws. The fact that every character has just about the same move set is really bugging Midway claimed that they motion captured over 2000 moves for the game yet due to time restrictions they had to cut almost all of them. The lack of characters too is a main grype about 30 in total. (some of these are secret unlockable characters) One weapon in the entire game (steel chair) i mean cmon how hard would it be to add a few more especially for guys like Sting,Jarrett and Team 3D who all have signature weapons and use them...
