Like the Premiership 05-06 season, Pro Evo has become cynical, cagey and lacking the sort of attacking fun that truly puts a smile on your face. Too often, playing for a draw is all you have the bottle for. So in a way, Pro Evo 5 is very realistic. Certainly the graphics are good, movement and animation is pretty good - it certainly feels as real a game as football as you can get with a joypad in your hand. For this Konami should be applauded, and I think the general feeling of having been let down so many gamers are experiencing is in context of the other Pro Evo games being so exciting. This one is still good - but we might have hoped for so much more ...
